Kalyani Gopal Kanpillewar joined EVA as an Energy Analyst in 2022, working at the nexus of clean technologies, energy markets, and economics. She specializes in power and renewable energy markets, aiding in providing data-driven guidance on energy transition and investment strategies to clients in the energy and utility sectors. Leveraging her interdisciplinary background in renewable energy systems and consulting, Kalyani leads the firm’s monthly renewable energy outlook, and offers insights into power advisory and consulting projects through analysis, market research, and commentary. Additionally, she develops proprietary asset performance models and assesses the policy and regulatory impacts of emerging technologies on the electricity supply and demand landscape within North American power and natural gas markets. Kalyani actively promotes and is a firm believer of co-creating and co-elevating solutions for a climate-conscious, equitable, and cost-effective energy transition. When she’s not thinking about energy, Kalyani enjoys reading, hiking, practicing yoga, and mentoring young professionals embarking on their journeys in the energy space.
