Contract Negotiation & Procurement Strategy

EVA assists buyers and sellers in the negotiation of long-term fuel and transportation contracts. Our services include preparing the contract terms and conditions for the bid solicitation, identifying likely suppliers, evaluating bids responses, evaluating the supplier’s ability to perform, and reviewing final contract terms.

EVA also assists parties including utilities, industrial clients and independent power producers in developing fuel procurement and purchased power strategies.  As part of this strategy, EVA assists consumers in developing hedging and diversification programs through market and risk analysis taking into account the changing regulatory environment, where appropriate, and the mix of short- and long-term supply and transportation contracts.
